First Nail Art NOTD - Bright Black Sparkle Leopard Print Nails ♥

Ok so i have recently had a big obsession with nail may have noticed by the huge influx of NOTD post's haha.

I have mentioned it before but i am currently off work which has meant i can wear lots of different bright and bold nail polish colours which has now sparked an interest in nail art.

I have always been interested in nail art but never thought id be any good at it so seeing as i have lots of time on my hands over the next few weeks i am going to practise practise practise and share my results with you..sound good?

I thought the easiest way for me to start would be a leopard print design.

So i went with a black sparkled multi-coloured design.

Now i am by no means a pro and i am aware this isn't great but i think for my first time i didn't too bad so i am looking forward to trying some other designs.

I used Orly Lemonade as the base coat and all over my nails..

I then used..

Revlon Plum Seduction & Lilac Pastelle
Barry M Spring Green & Pure Turquoise
China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy

For the multi coloured spots

Rimmel Black Pearl to outline the dots. Black Pearl is a sparkly black so i thought it was a nice way to add something different.

I thought this look was also a great way to showcase Yellow Nails which are bang on trend at the moment.

I take lots of inspiration for nail art from We Heart It but also from Leanne's Blog..her nail art designs are amazing and pretty special so definitely check her blog out :)

So do you like my first nail art design?

NOTD Ciaté Cupcake Queen ♥

Today i have a Ciaté NOTD post for you!

I will start off by saying Ciaté Paint Pots are on the pricey side at £9 a bottle but they are 100% totally worth it!!

Today i am wearing Cupcake Queen.

A gorgeous bright pink with a sheen of purple/blue.

Such a unique colour and something i didn't have in my collection.

Isn't the packaging just absolutely stunning?!

The colour was so pigmented and only needed one coat. The formulation is so smooth and so easy to apply.

I love how long the lid is as for me it helped me achieve a perfect application.

Like i mentioned earlier these are rather pricey for a nail polish but the quality and bottle is totally worth it. These don't chip easily and stay perfect for days!

I was sent this Ciaté Paint Pot to review by a PR company but i cant wait to get my hands on some more colours, these are my new current favourite nail polish brand.

They are available from Here!

Have you tried Ciaté Paint Pot's? What are your thoughts?

NOTD ♥ Barry M Peach Melba

I have another NOTD for you today.

I hope you like these post's as i am really enjoying posting them at the moment and seem to be changing my nail polish a lot more as i am off work so i love sharing it with you :)

Today i have a new colour from Barry M

♥ Peach Melba ♥

This is one of their new spring/summer shades!

It is such a gorgeous pale creamy peach colour.

I do love Barry M Nail Paints but i must admit this one did take 3 coats to get the perfect colour. With 2 coats it was still very streaky so just bare that in mind!

I do love peachy shades and this one is just so perfect. It really compliments my skin tone and would really work with all skin tones.

This is defo a much have beachy summer colour!

I have a true love for Avon nail polish. They have gorgeous colours and i love the quality!

Blue Shock was a real shock when i got my hands on it!

How amazing and unusual is that colour??

I couldnt stop admiring it once i took it out the box!

I couldnt wait to get it on my nails either.

Below the picture is taken with no flash

This one was taken with flash. I dont tend to take pictures for my blog with a flash but i just had to show you gorgeous shimmer/shine Blue Shock has to offer!

Perfect for your summer holidays!

They are currently on offer for £2.50 from Avon

What do you think of this colour? Too shocking or too perfect for summer?

I'm sure the majority of you are aware about the amazing freebies in Glamour magazine this month but i thought i would add my 2 pennies worth :)

So yeah basically Glamour have come up trumps again with some brilliant Benefit products!

This months offerings is a choice between Benetint, Posie Tint and High beam!

They are really quite tiny at only 4mls

However for only £2 for the magazine you really cant go wrong!

I decided to go with Pose Tint and High Beam. I'm not really a fan of Benetint.

On the left is High Beam and on the right is Pose Tint.

They are both gorgeous!

Which one are you going to pick up or have you gone with all three?

Products I Am Loving Right Now ♥ Part 1 ♥

This post really is a long time coming so i do apologise. For that reason there literally is so so so many products i am going to be talking about so be warned this is a really long, picture heavy post but i hope you find it use full and interesting!

Some may think wow there is a lot of products that you are loving but i have never done one of these post's before and i don't do monthly favourites and i wanted to make sure i literally include every product i like. Some of these products i came across months ago even last year but never got round to sharing them with you on here which is another reason why i wanted to do this post!

So go grab a cup of tea and sit back relax and enjoy the post ;)
Hair Products

TRESemme Naturals Vibrantly Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner - Why i have waited until now to share these products with you is just beyond me. I was sent the Naturals range a really long while back now and instantly fell in love. Since first trying this shampoo and conditioner i have tried some others from different brands but always without fail return to these. I think they have become my HG shampoo and conditioner. They provide lower sulphates which means a more natural shampoo. It contains coconut oil and jojoba extracts. They are silicone and paraben free which means they are suitable and gentle enough for sensitive skin which is what i have. They are also gentle enough to use on colour treated hair. They smell amazing really fruity and fresh leaving my hair super soft and shiny. They come in a 900ml bottle which lasts forever!! I cant recommend this range enough.

TRESemme Instant Refresh Volumising Dry Shampoo - A dry shampoo that's gives volume? Oh yes no wonder this is a product i am loving right now. If you don't use or need to use a dry shampoo but what volume this is perfect for you. It smells gorgeous as it contains lemongrass. The lemongrass refreshes your hair by removing oil and giving lift at the roots. Going to a festival this year? Take this product with you!! Volume and clean air? Perfect to get back out there and parrrty!

James Brown Photo Fabulous Intensive Treatment For Glossy And Moisturised Hair - This is the perfect 'quick fix treatment for hair' Its not what i would use as a hair mask but if your hair is thirsty or dry maybe swap this with your usual conditioner 2-3 times a week and just leave for 30 seconds. It instantly gives gorgeous moisturised hair. It smells a bit like old school men's aftershave, i don't mind the scent but i know quite a few people will so just make sure to give this one a whiff before purchasing.

Batiste Brit Dry Shampoo - My all time favourite Batiste Dry Shampoo. Very patriotic but smells amazing! I have a full review Here! I know Batiste have introduced larger size bottles and a XXL Volume dry shampoo so i cant wait to try them out. Who doesn't love Batiste?!

TGI S Factor Smoothing Lusterizer Defrizzer and Tamer - THE MOST AMAZING HAIR PRODUCT EVER!!!!! I could sing its praises for the rest of this post but i wont all i will say is...go buy this product now you seriously will not regret. I have only had this maybe a week and i already know i will now no longer being able to live without it. Its smells of strawberries and works wonders! Pure perfection. Please let me know your thoughts on this if you end up buying one. I think it deserves a post to itself so look out for that!

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum Thermal Protection -  Frizz-Ease has been a cult product for John Frieda for as long as i can remember. My mummy has sworn by this for years so i have grown up with Frizz-Ease i guess you could say. Love this as it can be used or dry or damp hair. As well as giving lots of shine and protecting against frizz it also works as a heat protector! Great all rounder product.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Creme Serum Overnight Repair Treatment - Again my mummy loves this product and so do i. You apply it at night to dry hair leave overnight and wash your hair in the morning. An amazing intense treatment which nourishes and repairs dry, damaged, frizzy hair! Smells divine and works a treat.

TRESemme 24 Hour Body Sky High Plumping Powder - I was first introduced to this pot of magic at the TRESemme/Vo5 event i recently attended. Slightly sceptical at first and it does feel like you are shaking salt or pepper in your hair lol however it really is amazing! You shake the powder into your roots and massage using your fingertips to create volume or your desired style. I have short hair so it does always need some short of product to give volume or shape. This is amazing! I use it at the crown of my hair to give volume at the back. Perfect easy volume product. I will warn you though, start of with a tiny amount and add more if need be. A small bit goes a long way and if you use too much you can wake up with a slight problem in the morning!

VO5 Miracle Mist - Hello to the new re-vamped VO5 products!! VO5 is slowly becoming my new favourite hair care brand. Their new range and new look has blown me away. I went to the launch of the new products and already have three HG products. One being this Miracle Mist. I don't think the name could be any more perfect. It really does what is says on the tin lol! This is a lightweight leave in conditioner that can be used of damp or dry hair. It has an essential blend of 5 natural oils, Avocado Oil, Apricot Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Argon Oil and Jojoba Oil. It also helps protect against heat damage. The new VO5 range smells amazing literally. The scents were based of Chanel Chance perfume mmmm delish!

VO5 Miracle Concentrate - My second HG product from the new VO5 range. I'm sure you have seen lots of reviews of this already! I love that on the back of the product it says 'been searching for that wonder product that will sort all of your hair woes' Yes Yes Yes!!! I think that is any beauty addicts dream. Well this truly is THE wonder product. Again smelling amazing this intense leave in treatment wont disappoint. It contains Argon Oil which is known to be, high in Vitamin E, rich in anti-oxidants to help fights against free radicals and hydrating and deeply conditioning. This leaves your hair so so silky smooth with a radiant shine. VO5 also say it reduces drying time and damage caused by drying! You just dispense a few precious drops into the palms of your hair and apply all over concentrating on the mid lengths and ends. That's a little hard for me so i just whack it all over and my hair loves it haha! Its true i really cant stop touching my hair.

VO5 Give Me Texture Choppy Cream Wax - The perfect product for short hair.Gives a choppy textured effect and really makes my style perfect. I apply this to my short layers and it gives such a funky look i love it. It stays put all day and gives a slight matte finish. To top it all off the product itself is pink? Amazing!!

VO5 Treat Me Right - My third HG product from VO5 and my favourite from the range. I saved the best till last! This is a rinse out deep conditioning treatment again containing the 5 natural oils. As soon as i open the huge pot i could easily grab myself a spoon and start munching it smells that good haha! A little extreme i know but i really does smell like heaven! I use this 2-3 times a week and try to leave it on for as long as possible. It does say to leave on for 1-3 minutes but my hair loves it so much i leave it on for longer for a more intense treatment. My hair was a little worse for wear a few weeks ago and was screaming for a nice treatment. This has totally done the job leaving my hair in a much happier place :)

What Hair Products Are You Loving Right Now?

The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel - Me and my boy are obsessed with this stuff.. It smells exactly like satsuma's funnily enough lol! Just really fruity and fresh. Great for the summer and really wakes us up in the morning. I now want to try the whole Satsuma range!

Vaseline Intensive Rescue Moisture Locking Body Lotion Chamomile - It sounds really super strange but i get really dry patches especially my ears lol. They get really dry so i am in love with this body lotion for just my dry areas. I have dry skin all over but i don't use this all over just target it at my worst areas. It would be too intense for everywhere. It smells a bit like sun cream and is for only dry and very dry skin. I also have slight eczema along my hair line and i use this to sooth that.

Garnier Body Tonic Sugar Scrub - I have be using this solidly for around 2 years now. I don't even want to think how many bottles i have gone through and re-purchased. It is the best scrub i have ever used. it Smells just like lemonade! It is a sugar scrub so it is very intense and very abrasive but is perfect for my dry skin. This is the only scrub i use when i am going to be fake tanning and to take the fake tan off. It contains sugar and natural fruit extract. I love that when you rub it into the skin if forms a slight foam it doesn't just disappear like some scrubs.

Neutrogena Body Oil - This is an ultra light non greasy, natural oil made from sesame seed. A few drops smoothed on after your bath or shower will help seal in moisture. This leaves my skin so silky smooth and i target this at my legs. Again it is designed for dry skin. You apply this to all over the body or where it is needed when you skin is still damp and then just pat dry.

Veet Hair Minimising Body Moisturiser - I haven't used this for long enough to do a full review or sing its praises but so far so good will update you on this one.

The Body Shop Lycee Blossom Body Butter - We all know how amazing The Body Shop Body Butters are so its not surprise these is one in this post. This is my new favourite scent for the body butters. I believe it could be a new scent so definitely check it out.Its perfect for the summer really fruity and fresh and the scent stays on your skin for hours.

Soap&Glory Hand Maid -  We all need to be clean and i work at the airport so constantly use a hand sanitizer. This is my favourite one by far. It has the classic Soap&Glory scent which smells like Miss Dior perfume. Even guys like this. When i use it at works the guys are like who just put something on their hands? They blatantly want some of their own but wont buy it as its pink lol!

Avon Foot Works Cherry Ice Cooling Foot Spray
Avon Foot Works Cherry Ice Exfoliating Scrub
Avon Foots Works Marine Salt Hydrating Balm
Scholl Hard Skin Softening cream

Summer is here now which means we are going to be wearing gorgeous sandals. I know feet isn't a great subject to talk about to i thought i would just let you know of the products i use to have nice feet when wearing sandals or flip flops. I have always loved Avon Foot Works products so definitely check those out the the Scholl cream is amazing!!

What Bodycare Products Are You Loving Right Now?

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - Well what can i say? This is the reason my skin care looks a bit bland. This does everything for me. It deserves its own post so look out for that!

L'oreal Triple Active Day Cream - This has been my HG moisturiser for around 6 months id say now. I believe i was staying at my boyfriends and forgot my moisturiser and spotted this in Asda so thought why not i will give it a go i mean i needed a moisturiser badly. Since that day i have used this everyday. My skin drinks it it loves it so much. I love that my skin is happy with a cheap drugstore moisturiser which is accessible everywhere. It does everything i need a moisturiser to do. I use it day and night. Its amazing I would highly recommend this. It is for Normal to Combination skin but works perfect on my dry skin.

Clean & Clear Morning Energy Skin Brightening Daily Facial Moisturiser - You are now probably thinking why the hell do i need this one then? Sometimes the L'oreal can be so so rich and moisturising the follow morning i still need the moisture but not so much. That's when i use this. Its fresh and light and smells like lemon and orange. A perfect summer moisturiser.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair - Is amazing!!!! Its quite expensive but totally worth it! Nothing more i can say other than it is a genius product and everyone should try it lol.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex -  This is perfect for more mature skin. I don't really honestly know why i have included it in this post. I am currently trying to use it up and i guess i just picked them up together. It is a great product but for my age there are better eye creams out there.
What Skincare Are You Loving Right Now?

Burt's Bees Almond Milk and Beeswax & Banana Hand Cream - These smell totally amazing i cant decide which one i prefer and probably never will be able to lol! The almond milk smells exactly like bake well tart (me all over lol) and the banana and beeswax smells like banana sweets. They are such a rich hand cream which you use right after you have washed your hands. They are made with sweet almond oil to moisturise and the beeswax helps seal and shield your hands from the elements. You only need the smallest amount.. a little goes a long way. I love the jars they come in, i just love everything about this product definitely check them out!

Which Hand Creams Do You Love Right Now?

Sally Hansen Grown Nails Now Nail Growth Solution - I love this as you brush it over your nails and cuticles and massage it in! You can apply it before applying nail polish or just wear it alone. I used this when i got my acrylic nails taken off and my nails when back being really long and strong!

Sally Hansen Green Tea and Bamboo Nail Strengthener - This is a recent purchase but as soon as i got it i used it continuously for one week just alone but i would top it up every other day! It gave my nails such a gorgeous shiny finish and kept them super Strong. They also appear a lot brighter.

Sally Hansen Complete Care Extra Moisturising 4 in 1 Treatment - I tend to use this every time i give myself a manicure..its like a nice facial for the nails. Makes them really strong and glossy and feels nice to be giving your nails a moisturising treatment. They deserve it after all.

Sally Hansen Mega Shine
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti Chip Top Coat - Both of these are my favourite drugstore alternatives of Seche Vite. Mega shine is amazing it literally is Mega Shine and the Instant Dri really does dry super super fast. I was totally shocked. It made my nail polish last ages and didn't chip at all. The ends started chipping on around day 4. So glad i have found a drugstore cheaper version of Seche Vite.

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat - Talking of Seche Vite...i love this stuff and i know a lot of bloggers do to. It dries amazingly quick and gives the most gorgeous shine. Just wish the polish itself didn't go so sticky and gloppy so quickly! Only down fall.

What top coats and nail care polishes do you like?

Cutical Care

Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover - This stuff is kind of gross you know but works wonders. It dries and dissolves cuticles in 15 seconds. You place the product across the cuticle after 15 seconds you push back you cuticles with a pusher and then wash away with warm soapy water. You cuticles literally fall off..a little extreme haha but its amazing you must try it!

Sally Hansen Nail Quenchers Hydrating Cuticle Creme - I love applying this at night to put the hydration back into my nails and cuticle. It also smells like sherbet sweets which i love haha!

Sally Hansen Nail Revitalizer With Tea Tree Oil - I like to use this again when i am giving myself a manicure. I use this with the 4 in 1 treatment. Its such a nail facial with the brush going on lol! My nails do get a lot of discolouration as i wear a lot of polish, this really helps to whiten and brighten my nails. My nails look really healthy after i have used this and i love it!

What treatments do you like for your cuticles?

Nail Varnish

Revlon Scented Nail Polish - Peach Smoothie
Revlon Scented Nail Polish - Coconut Crush

Revlon Scented Nail Polish - Bubble Gum
Revlon Scented Nail Polish - Not So Blueberry

Please let me know if you want swatches or NOTD of ANY of these polishes. Id be happy to do so!

What Summer Colours Are You Loving On Your Nails?

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2010 Collection - Smells just like coconut and holiday lol! I love this as it reminds me of Las Vegas. I bought it in the CCO out there.

Paul Smith Summer Rose - I was obsessed with this last year and still am this year. Its just amazing and i get so many compliments when i wear it.

Gucci Envy Me - This was my signature scent when i was 16-17 and i recently got a new bottle. Its just such a gorgeous musky floral scent. You wouldn't think it is summery but it totally is. There is a slight hint of fruitiness. Its gorgeous and a must try!!

Escada Island Kiss - This was one of my very first perfumes when i was like 13 or 14. My dad bought it for me when we were going on holiday one year. I obviously used up a 100ml and that was that as all Escada perfumes are Limited Edition. I just needed this perfume back in my life and to bring back lots of memories so i hunted it down on Amazon! Its super hard to find but if you can please get it. The most amazing sweet girly perfume. Perfect for the summer.

So...? Sinful - Such and old school classic perfume. Super cheap and a perfect handbag summer spritz!! Really sweet and a strong vanilla scent.

I was going to add my Make-Up favourites in this post but I'm going to do that in Part 2 so keep and eye out for that.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

If there are any particular products you would like me to do a full review on then just leave me a comment and i will get to it :)

Rimmel London 'Peppermint' vs China Glaze 'For Audrey'

Yesterday i posted about a the new Nail polish colours from Rimmel London

The lovely Amy from left a comment on my post wondering how similar Rimmel London's Peppermint would be to China Glaze For Audrey!

So i got straight on it and have a comparison post for you today!

Thank-you Amy for your comment :)

In the bottle you can clearly see that 'Peppermint' is much lighter than 'For Audrey'

In the swatch above i thought i would show you the 2 bottles next to each other with 'Peppermint' on my nails!

Then in the swatch above i still have 'Peppermint' on my nails but as you can see it looks identical to 'For Audrey'

In all honesty if you have been lusting after China Glaze 'For Audrey' but cant get your hands on it or don't want to pay the price for China Glaze then Rimmel London 'Peppermint' is 100% for you.

For £4.49 and only ever so slightly lighter i think its a great dupe!!

What do you think?
