Revlon Photo Ready Cream Blush Review & Swatches ♥ Pinched & Flushed ♥

So when i picked up the Revlon Just Bitten kissable Balm Stains and had the huge excitement over them, i had double excitement as the Revlon Photo Ready Cream Blushers had also been released here in the UK at the same time, so all in all it was a day of true make-up excitement / heaven :) O to be a beauty blogger hey!!

The newly launched Revlon Photo Ready line consisting of 8 products is going down a storm within the beauty community, the products have photocromtics which aim to give perfect skin in any light. The newest addition to the Photo Ready line are the Cream Blushers.

There are only 3 shades available which is a little disappointing however it does make it more exciting for if and when they release more colours..its always nicer to wait for things in life i think..at least we have some gorgeous colours to play around with now. The 3 colours available are Flushed, Pinched and Coral Reef. Coral Reef wasn't actually available in the store i was in yet so i just went with the 2 which were available at the time.

Flushed is a gorgeous bright blue toned pink with no shimmer just a flat colour. I applies quite bright but once blended its a lot more sheer and really does give the cheeks a flushed look.
Pinched in a really stunning pale peach with a slight gold shimmer. The gold shimmer really makes this special and adds something different to the cheeks..its as though it is a blush and highlighter in one. Personally i love a bit of slight shimmer on the cheeks so for me i can see this being my go to blush for the summer months..yaaay to finally seeing some sun in London!

You can apply them which ever you feel comfortable with as they work great either by using your fingers or a brush.. personally i have been using my Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply them as i find this works best for me.

They dry ever so slightly matte so have a tiny bit of a powder finish to them but they aren't a cream to powder formula so i do find that my cheeks do look slightly more oily throughout the day than they normally would..i have just been using a translucent powder to touch up to combat it.

As they are obviously a cream blush they give a stunning glow to cheeks especially pinched as it has the slight gold shimmer. When buying or receiving products before using them i will always photograph and swatch them for blogging purposes as i like you all to see exactly how the product comes, when i originally swatched these Revlon Cream Blushers i honestly thought ohhh Flushed doesn't look like a colour i would get on with as it looked a little to sheer and oily if that makes sense but once i used them both on my cheeks i soon realised i was totally wrong and in fact loved them both so much i couldn't decide which was my favourite..and i still can't!!

The packaging is of similar to a lip product or lip balm in a twist off small round pot..i love the sleek black packaging and the convenience of how small they are but still with a good amount of product inside.

For £7.99 these really do just show why i love drugstore/highstreet make-up so much!! Keep it coming Revlon!

Have you tried these yet? Which is your favourite shade?

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Whilst legging it through Boots on my lunch break the other day to pick up a meal deal, yep that's right i actually caught a quick glimpse of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and actually stood and thought to myself 'omg they are actually out in the UK already' How did that actually happen?? They seemed to appear in the UK so much quicker than the Lip Butters! Anyway it wasn't look before i was quickly swatching all the shades available picking the ones i liked the most..i didn't have much time as like i said i was on my break..in the end i went with Darling and Cherish.

The packaging is absolutely gorgeous but to be honest i wouldn't expect anything less from Revlon. In fact the packaging is pretty much identical to the Clinique Chubby Sticks. It is in the shape of a crayon and have a twist up button on the bottom. They apply beautifully and last so well on the lips...although they are a balm they apply like a glossy balm would but then leave a gorgeous stain of colour that wears on the lips so nicely.

Cherish is most definitely my favourite out of the 2 i got however they are quite similar but different in their own way. Cherish is much more of a daily wearable colour for me which i guess is why i have been reaching for it the most. The only criticism i have is that although the colour range does look vast in actually fact all the colours are really quite similar other than Rendezvous and Honey which are completely different colours so maybe i will have to swatch those for you. All the pinks look different in the packaging but once swatched they are really so similar!

I really love the formulation, staying power, packaging and also the price is good i just really wish the colours were much more different to each other! I can definitely see me getting addicted to these ;)

Have you got your hands of any of these? Are you addicted yet?
